October 23, 2009, 8:32AM: Drinking coffee here to wake up (wish I could IV it, lol). Getting ready to infuse my son's meds, then take him to school. I drive him in my robe & slippies, lol! Why not, I'm not getting out of my car, just hop and drop. :D

Another too busy day ahead. I keep hoping I'll catch some slack and have a day to myself, but it's just not happening. I'm in too much of a hypo mood and adjusted my meds night before last. Too much stress is causing this, as it always does for me.

Will be on the phone with my computer guy later this AM; and he's bipolar too! So this will not be a quick conversation, lol, even though he's calling to walk me thru some computer stuff. I know we'll digress, but it's fun!

I'll be talking to a potential new sponsor around noon-ish. Later this afternoon, I must get four new tires on my car, gr. Then infuse more meds for my son. Then get him to P.T. (physio for those of you from Oz and other places). Then get him to his school's homecoming football game. Then attend an AA meeting. Then pick up my son and infuse his last dose for the day. Gaaaaaaaaaaah!

I'm in Cumberland, Md. at my husband's conference. It's nestled in the mountains and is gorgeously scenic and beautiful. The colors are breathtaking! Our room looks out over a lake and the mountain- so calming. I'm having a nice, quiet time here while he works! I can't walk like I'd like to because of my broken foot. But I'm reading, getting on the computer and enjoying some great meals in the restaurant.

This is a good getaway for my soul.

I know where you are, Idol, and it is truly a beautiful, peaceful place. This was the last place my late husband treated me and my son to...we went in the early spring and it snowed!

One day, my husband, an avid golfer, took our son who was quite young at the time up on the golf course where they goofed around. Our son first picked up a flag from one of the golf holes and went marching around with it. My husband was ROTFL!

And if that wasn't enough, our son decided to pee in one of the golf holes...luckily hubby stopped him in time, LOLOL!

In the meantime, I was getting a facial massage and missed all the fun!

Thanks for reminding me of a bitter sweet memory, Idol.

Keep the faith and enjoy your time away in the mountains!

October 23. The oldest boy decided to try and see how many of my buttons he could push all morning. I was getting pretty stressed out, feel a little better now. When do we get a ride on the motorcycle Pam, that looks like fun, gone on any trips on it.

Isn't it amazing how quickly kids get us figured out? Sometimes cute...sometimes not so.

My daughter posted a group of pictures of my grandson at a pumpkin patch on facebook today. It made my day! He looks like a little pumpkin.
